Patent-pending HARGS™ Gas System:
Hush Auto Returning Gas System (HARGS)
Our HARGS proprietary gas system is what makes this rifle a true Hush Puppy®. With a simple press of a lever on the hand guard, the gas can be completely shut off, eliminating all bolt reciprocation and brass ejection. Making the gun 30% quieter. Once the lever is released, it returns back unassisted to its original position allowing for regular semi-automatic firing. The HARGS system also offers complete gas adjustability to allow the shooter to tune the rifle to your desired ammunition and ejection pattern.
HPP Integral Monocore Suppressor System:
Our integrally suppressed Monocore system is made from 17-4 Stainless steel with a Titanium outer sleeve. The suppressor is permanently attached to the HARGS Gas block and is paired with a HPP 7.5" long 1:5" twist button rifled match barrel for better accuracy and stability while shooting heavier grain bullets. The suppressor is 2.5" back over barrel allowing for better gas and sound mitigation.
The suppressor can be easily disassembled and serviced with a 5/8" socket wrench. The monocore is designed to clean all carbon buildup on the outer sleeve as it is removed.
HPP Non Reciprocating Side Charge Upper:
One of the drawbacks with a traditional rear charging upper is the dangerous gas that blows back into the shooters face while shooting suppressed. With the HPP Non Reciprocating Side Charge Upper, hazardous gas is not a concern. After the initial racking of the firearm, the side charging handle stays in the forward position. The rear of the upper is sealed, preventing any gas from escaping into the shooters face.
An operational benefit of the side charge is after activating the HARGS gas system, the shooter does not have to change position or come up off of the gun to re-rack the side charge. Allowing for faster follow up shots.
HPP Lower with Ambidextrous Controls:
The billet precision machined HPP lower features robust ambidextrous safeties, mag release and bolt catch levers.
Furniture:
The rifles furniture includes a 12" HPP M-lok Hand guard, a billet 5 position auto deploying PDW stock that is 5" when fully collapsed and featured 2 ambidextrous QD sling mounts and a compact buffer tube for the ultimate close quarter setup. The grip is a Die Free Co. Kung Fu Pistol Grip with a 12 degree grip angle for better presentation when shooting a compact PDW rifle.
